Sales at Greentech Renewables is not door-to-door selling, cold calling homeowners, or high-pressure sales.

Our sales professionals serve as trusted business partners to commercial solar contractors, developers, EPCs, and other energy-industry customers throughout the lifecycle of their projects.

This role is centered on relationship building, account management, project support, and problem solving. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to support commercial solar projects through equipment selection, procurement, inventory management, logistics coordination, job-site delivery, and ongoing customer service.

Success in this role comes from understanding a customer’s business, anticipating project needs, developing solutions, and delivering an exceptional experience that helps customers grow.

Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and structured training, you will gain exposure to multiple areas of the business while building the technical, commercial, and leadership skills needed for a successful career in sales and business management.

Key Responsibilities

Inside Sales & Customer Service

  • Build strong relationships with solar contractors, electrical contractors, installers, and other customers.
  • Prepare quotes, process orders, and help customers identify the right products and solutions for their projects.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to customer questions regarding pricing, product availability, deliveries, and orders.
  • Work closely with outside sales and account managers to support customer growth.
  • Help identify additional sales opportunities within existing customer relationships.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Develop strong working knowledge of solar modules, inverters, batteries, racking, electrical equipment, and related balance-of-system products.

Operations Management

  • Help oversee the daily operations of the Tucson profit center.
  • Coordinate communication between inside sales, warehouse, delivery, purchasing, and outside sales.
  • Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
  • Help manage warehouse priorities, receiving, transfers, staging, and delivery schedules.
  • Work with the team to continuously improve operational efficiency and customer service.
  • Identify problems before they affect customers and take ownership of finding solutions.
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, professional facility.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in pulling and checking the accuracy of solar project orders.
  • Drive a pickup truck, flatbed, or box truck to local customer and job-site locations as needed. This is a non-CDL driving responsibility.
  • Ensure Proof of Delivery is captured for every delivery.
  • Communicate delivery issues, discrepancies, damage, or return requests promptly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers at the counter, over the phone, and at delivery locations.
  • Organize the warehouse and maintain properly stocked and orderly shelving.
  • Receive and inspect incoming freight and material.
  • Assist with staging and preparing customer orders.
  • Operate a pallet jack and forklift as required.
  • Work alongside warehouse and delivery team members when needed to ensure customer commitments are met.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

Inventory & Purchasing

  • Monitor inventory levels and product availability.
  • Assist with purchasing and replenishment decisions based on customer demand, forecasts, and market conditions.
  • Work to maintain appropriate inventory levels while limiting excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Coordinate inventory transfers between Greentech Renewables locations when appropriate.
  • Help resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping issues, damaged products, returns, and warranty-related situations.
  • Develop an understanding of inventory investment, turns, margins, and the financial impact of purchasing decisions.

Team Leadership

  • Help develop and support inside sales, warehouse, and operations employees.
  • Establish clear expectations and promote accountability.
  • Assist with employee training and development.
  • Lead by example with professionalism, urgency, communication, and customer service.
  • Help create a culture where employees take ownership of their responsibilities and work together to solve problems.
  • Support recruiting and onboarding as the business grows.

Greentech Commercial Solutions SW in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Project Manager to join our team. This role will work closely with our sales team, customers and vendors to ensure projects run smoothly from the point of purchase order through project completion. This position will handle multiple solar and switchgear projects at a time and requires great customer service and attention to detail. Project Managers are responsible for ordering material from vendors, coordinating logistics and delivery of material to warehouses or job sites across the country and invoicing for material and services supplied. Project Managers are expected to represent Greentech in a professional manner and should be driven and self-sufficient.

REPORTS TO: PC Manager/Operations Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of professional experience, preferably in project management, distribution or a similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high level of customer service and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with CRMs (Salesforce), warehouse management software, Microsoft Outlook, Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Solar or electrical experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team to accomplish common goals

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • This is an in-person, computer-based role in Phoenix, AZ requiring extended periods of time working at a desk or workstation
  • Daily work is performed primarily on a computer, including email, video conferencing, and specialized software platforms

COMPENSATION:

The compensation range for this position is based on experience

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Release material order to vendors quickly and accurately
  • Maintain shipping schedules on projects and update customers daily/weekly
  • Quickly resolve issues that could delay or negatively impact projects
  • Coordinate logistics for large pieces of solar and switchgear
  • Work closely with Outside Sales to solidify customer relationships
  • Accurately bill for materials shipped
  • Collaborate with teammates and work towards common goals
